I love sharing stories. Stringing words and sentences together, transforming a blank document into something that resonates with people — that’s why I became a writer.
My diverse interests guide my work: women’s history, city building, heritage conservation, museums, books, film, and music. To see how it all comes together, check out my portfolio in publications. If you’re looking for my formal work and volunteer experience, head over to my resume.
A little more about me: I’m an MA graduate from the Literatures of Modernity program at Ryerson University (2017-2018) in Toronto. I also completed my BA (Honors) in History at Queen’s University (2012-2016) where I had the amazing opportunity to spend a summer at the Bader International Study Centre in the U.K.
Both during and after my academic career I have worked as a freelance writer. Over the last three years I have expanded my portfolio and my client base — from not-for-profits to technology consulting to architecture firms. I love learning new things, and as my favourite literary heroine, Anne Shirley, once said: “Isn’t it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive — it’s such an interesting world.”
